Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules for using the Services provided by Yalla Media FZ-LLC (“Yalla Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our AI tools, digital products, and marketplace. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Services you agree to follow this Policy.

1. General principles

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights and safety of others. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and for any content you submit to or generate with our AI tools.

2. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Services, including our AI tools, to create, upload, generate, or distribute content or to carry out activity that:

  • is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal acts, under applicable UAE or other relevant law;
  • infringes intellectual-property rights, trade secrets, or privacy, publicity, or contractual rights of others;
  • is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination against individuals or groups;
  • sexually exploits or endangers minors, or constitutes non-consensual or exploitative sexual content;
  • is deceptive or fraudulent, including impersonation, scams, phishing, or the creation of misleading deepfakes intended to deceive;
  • promotes self-harm, the creation of weapons, or other dangerous activities likely to cause serious harm;
  • contains malware, or is designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
  • generates spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or content used to manipulate ratings, reviews, or search results;
  • violates applicable advertising, consumer-protection, financial, medical, or other regulated-industry rules.

3. Responsible AI use

AI outputs can be inaccurate and must be reviewed by a human before you rely on or publish them. You must not present AI-generated content as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice, and you must comply with any disclosure obligations that apply to automated or synthetic content. You are responsible for ensuring that content you generate is accurate, appropriate, and lawful for its intended use.

4. System integrity and rate limits

To keep the Services reliable and fair for everyone, you must not:

  • exceed, evade, or attempt to circumvent usage credits, rate limits, or quotas applied to your plan;
  • use scripts, bots, scrapers, or automation to place excessive load on the Services beyond documented or authorised access;
  • share, resell, or sublicense access to the AI tools except as expressly permitted;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract underlying models, prompts, or source code;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written authorisation, or interfere with security features.

5. Account responsibility

You must keep your credentials secure, must not let unauthorised parties use your account, and must not create accounts to evade limits, suspensions, or bans. We may apply additional verification where we detect unusual or high-risk activity.

6. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of content or activity that violates this Policy, report it to [email protected] or through our contact page. We investigate credible reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, throttling or suspending access, terminating accounts, withholding refunds for abuse, and reporting unlawful activity to authorities. We may act immediately and without prior notice where there is a risk of harm, security threat, or legal exposure.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance. See also our Privacy Policy.
